- Service: individual or group sessions, educational, behavioural or developmental programs, assessments, reports, content, the digital platform, and any other services Farid provides.

02Acceptance & Eligibility
- By using the service, creating an account, or booking a session, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any other policies published or communicated to you.
- The user must be an adult with legal capacity to contract under applicable law.
- Children may not create accounts or contract directly with Farid; all registration, booking, and payment must be through a parent or legal representative.
- You acknowledge that you are the parent, guardian, or legally authorised to contract on behalf of the child, and you take responsibility for the accuracy of the data provided.
- Farid may request proof of identity, guardianship, or authorisation in cases it deems necessary, such as family disputes, deletion or access requests, complaints, or suspected misuse.
- Farid may refuse account creation, suspend, or terminate the service if data is inaccurate, legal capacity is absent, or use violates these Terms.
03Nature of Farid's Services
- Farid provides educational, developmental, and training services aimed at supporting children's and youth's skills, building character, and enhancing social, emotional, and behavioural skills.
- Farid's services are not a substitute for specialist medical, psychological, or behavioural diagnosis or treatment, and should not be relied upon in crises, acute disorders, or risks requiring direct medical or psychological intervention.
- If the parent observes a danger to the child's or others' safety, or an emergency mental or medical condition, they should immediately contact a licensed doctor, specialist, or competent emergency authority.
- Farid may provide educational, training, or developmental recommendations based on available information, but does not guarantee a specific outcome or treatment of a particular condition.
- Service outcomes depend on multiple factors, including attendance regularity, the child's engagement, parent cooperation, the home or school environment, and the nature of the child's individual needs.
04Parent Account & Child Account
- The account is created in the parent's or contracting entity's name; the parent is responsible for account management and login data security.
- The parent assumes responsibility for the child's use of the platform and for arranging a suitable session environment, including stable internet, a suitable device, and a quiet, safe space.
- The parent may attend the session in whole or part, in a manner that does not disrupt the session's flow, the child's comfort, or the trainer's guidance.
- Farid commits to transparency with the parent and does not establish an independent confidential relationship between the child and the trainer apart from the family, while respecting the child's dignity, privacy, and safety.
- In cases of dispute over guardianship, custody, or right to access the child's data, Farid abides by what is proven before it through official documents, court rulings, or legal instructions, and is not a party to the family dispute.
- Farid may temporarily suspend access to the account or some data if a serious dispute arises over the legal capacity of the requester, until sufficient documents are provided.
05Booking, Scheduling & Trainer Assignment
- Session times are scheduled according to trainer availability, suitable timeslots, the child's data, and needs.
- Farid exercises appropriate professional care in selecting the trainer but does not guarantee complete personal compatibility in every case.
- The parent may request a trainer change for a valid reason; Farid examines the request and acts on it subject to availability and operational conditions.
- The first trainer-change request may be free if based on a genuine reason and submitted within a reasonable time from service start; repeat requests are subject to Farid's discretion and the availability of alternatives.
- Standard session length is 45 minutes, unless otherwise stated in a specific offer or package.
- Sessions may be delivered via the Farid platform or licensed/contracted communication tools as Farid deems appropriate for operations, quality, and security.
- The parent acknowledges that changing the trainer, schedule, or workshop type may affect the service timeline, and does not automatically entail any financial compensation as long as Farid provides a suitable alternative within a reasonable period.
06Parent Obligations During the Service
The parent undertakes the following:
- Provide correct, accurate, and up-to-date data.
- Ensure the child attends at the scheduled time.
- Provide a device, internet connection, and a suitable session environment.
- Not leave the child in unsafe conditions during the session, especially for younger children.
- Treat trainers and support staff with respect.
- Not request personal contact information or private channels from the trainer outside Farid's official channels.
- Not record, publish, or share sessions, trainer images, or content without prior written permission from Farid.
- Inform Farid of any health, mental, or behavioural condition that may be relevant to service delivery, to the extent necessary to protect the child and improve the experience.
- Not use the service for any unlawful, abusive, or otherwise inconsistent purpose.
07Pricing, Payment & Invoicing
- Prices are displayed before booking or subscription is finalised, and may vary by country, currency, package type, or active offers.
- Prices may or may not include taxes and government fees depending on the country, the nature of the service, and the invoicing method; this will be clarified as far as possible before payment.
- The booking is confirmed only after the required amount is received, or the down-payment approved by Farid.
- For instalments or partial payment, the parent undertakes to pay instalments on time; Farid may suspend the service or stop session bookings on payment delay.
- Any bank fees, payment-gateway commissions, or currency-conversion differences may be deducted from the refund amount, unless the refund cause is fully due to a confirmed Farid error.
- Invoices or receipts are issued according to the operational and tax system in force at Farid; the user acknowledges that some payment methods may take time to appear or settle.
- Farid reserves the right to adjust prices in the future; this does not affect previously paid sessions or packages unless otherwise agreed or mandatory government taxes/fees change.
08Cancellation & Refund Policy
The cancellation and refund policy aims to balance the parent's right to change their mind against Farid's operational commitments to trainers and reserved resources.
- 7-day cooling-off — the parent may request a full refund within 7 days of payment, provided no session has been consumed and no non-refundable digital service has been used. If any session was attended during this period, the consumed portion plus any necessary operational/administrative/bank fees are deducted. The guarantee does not apply to services performed at the parent's request before the cooling-off period ends.
- After 7 days — only unconsumed sessions may be refunded, after deducting reasonable administrative/operational fees and any non-refundable payment, transfer, or tax commissions. Consumed sessions are valued at the actual or proportional package price, not necessarily a discounted average if the package's discount was conditioned on completion. Promotional offers, discounts, or free sessions are not refundable in cash.
- Cancellation/postponement by the parent — sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge if requested at least 24 hours before, subject to availability. Cancellation or absence within less than 24 hours counts the session as consumed, unless Farid exceptionally agrees to reschedule for documented force-majeure reasons. Late arrivals do not extend the session; the trainer may end it at its scheduled time. If lateness exceeds a substantial duration making delivery unfeasible, the session may be deemed consumed.
- Cancellation/postponement by Farid — if Farid must cancel or postpone a session for an operational reason, trainer-related excuse, or its own technical fault, a suitable alternative is provided at no additional cost. If no suitable alternative is possible within a reasonable period, the value of the undelivered session may be refunded. Farid is not obliged to provide an extra free session or automatic compensation except as a discretionary customer-service action.
- Refund execution time — refund requests are reviewed within a reasonable period after receipt of the request and required information. On approval, the refund is usually executed within 14 business days; this period may vary by bank, payment gateway, or payment method. Refunds go to the original payment method when possible.
09Offers, Discounts & Free Sessions
- Farid may offer promotions, discounts, or free sessions under specific terms and for limited periods.
- Combining more than one offer or discount is not permitted unless Farid expressly states otherwise.
- Free, trial, or gifted sessions are not refundable in cash or convertible into monetary value.
- Farid may modify or stop offers at any time, without affecting rights already accrued before the change.
- If the user received a discount conditional on a certain number of sessions and then requests a refund before completing the package, Farid may recalculate consumed sessions at the undiscounted price or fair proportional price.
10Conduct Rules & Acceptable Use
The user and child must abide by the following conduct rules:
- Respect trainers and the Farid team and avoid any abusive, threatening, or discriminatory language.
- No bullying, harassment, or abuse of any person during sessions or via the platform.
- Do not share session links or accounts with unauthorised persons.
- Do not attempt to obtain personal contact information from the trainer or contact them outside Farid's official channels except with Farid's approval.
- Do not record, photograph, publish, broadcast, or share sessions without prior written permission.
- Do not use the platform for political, religiously divisive, commercial, promotional, or any purpose inconsistent with the nature of the service.
- Do not copy, extract, or reuse Farid's content, train others on it, or upload it to other platforms without authorisation.
- In case of violation of these rules, Farid may take what it deems appropriate, including warning, account suspension, session cancellation, or termination of the subscription without full or partial refund, depending on the severity and resulting damages.
11Child Protection & Safety
- Farid commits to applying appropriate procedures to protect the child during service delivery, including trainer selection, quality follow-up, and complaints channels.
- If during a session or through communication something arises that raises serious concern about the child's safety or exposure to risk or harm, Farid may take appropriate measures — such as notifying the parent, suspending the session, preserving the recording, requesting additional information, or contacting competent authorities where there is a legal obligation or serious risk.
- The parent acknowledges that child protection is a priority, and Farid may retain some data, recordings, or reports in the presence of a safety report, complaint, or dispute, even if deletion is requested, within the necessary legal limits.
- Farid is not responsible for direct home or physical supervision of the child outside the scope of the digital session.
12Recording & Quality Monitoring
- Sessions may be recorded or partially reviewed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable settings or consents.
- Recordings are used for quality, training, protection, complaint verification, performance measurement, and service development.
- The parent or child may not record the session or publish or send it to a third party except with prior written consent from Farid, and without prejudice to the rights of the trainer, children, or other parties.
- Farid may use session outputs, reports, and assessments in aggregated, anonymised, or pseudonymised form for improvement and impact measurement, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
13Intellectual Property
- All intellectual property rights relating to Farid, its content, methodology, workshops, assessments, reports, designs, logos, and training materials are owned by Farid or licensed to it.
- The user is granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the content within the platform and for service purposes only.
- No copying, publishing, sale, re-delivery, training of others, or creation of similar programs based on Farid's content, methodology, reports, or tools is permitted without prior written consent.
- Child reports are for the parent's personal and educational use; they may be shared with the child's school or a specialist following the case, provided they are not used commercially, published publicly, or modified in a way that harms Farid or the trainer.
- Session recordings are for personal viewing or educational follow-up only; they may not be published or shared on social media or used in any media or commercial dispute without written permission or legal order.
- Any infringement of intellectual property rights gives Farid the right to suspend the service, claim compensation, and take appropriate legal action.
14User-Submitted Content
- The user or child may submit comments, answers, files, images, or materials related to the service.
- The user acknowledges that they have the right to submit these materials and that they do not infringe the rights of others or applicable laws.
- The user grants Farid a limited licence to use these materials to the extent necessary for service delivery, report preparation, quality improvement, impact measurement, and program development, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- Farid does not use the child's image, name, or story in general marketing materials that would identify them except with the parent's explicit consent.
- Farid may delete or disregard any user-submitted content if it is abusive, unlawful, or inconsistent with the nature of the service.
15Privacy & Data Protection
- Processing of personal data is governed by Farid's Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms.
- By using the service, the user acknowledges having reviewed the Privacy Policy and agreeing to its contents, including the processing of the child's data for service delivery, quality, impact measurement, and improvement, subject to the safeguards therein.
- Where there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy on data processing, the Privacy Policy prevails in data-protection matters, unless the law provides otherwise.
16Limitation of Liability
- Farid provides its services with reasonable professional care and does not guarantee specific outcomes or particular improvement within a particular period.
- Farid is not responsible for damage resulting from: poor internet connection or device fault, inaccurate or incomplete information from the parent, the child's absence or lack of engagement, use of content outside service context, or decisions taken by the parent, school, or any third party based on incomplete understanding of reports or recommendations.
- Farid is not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, lost-profit, lost-opportunity, or moral damages, to the extent permitted by law.
- In all cases, and to the extent permitted by law, Farid's total financial liability to the user does not exceed the amounts paid by the user to Farid for the service in dispute during the 12 months preceding the claim.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, gross negligence, or bodily injury resulting from an established act of Farid, if the law so determines.
17Force Majeure & Circumstances Beyond Control
Farid is not liable for delay or non-performance of obligations if due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, such as general internet outage, service-provider failures, natural disasters, government decisions, pandemics, wars, unrest, power outage, large-scale cyberattacks, or any similar emergency. In such cases, Farid seeks to minimise the impact and reschedule sessions or provide suitable alternatives where possible.
18Suspension or Termination of Service
Farid may suspend or terminate the account, subscription, or access to certain services in the following cases:
- Violation of these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or the conduct rules.
- Late payment or failed scheduled payments.
- Misuse of the platform, trainers, or support team.
- Providing inaccurate data or impersonating a parent or authorised party.
- Infringement of intellectual property rights.
- Risk to the safety of the child, trainer, or Farid.
- A request from a competent legal or judicial authority.
- In case of termination due to a material breach by the user, Farid may not refund amounts associated with reserved services or allocated resources, while reserving the right to claim compensation where appropriate.
19Complaints & Support
- Complaints or support requests may be submitted through the official communication channels designated by Farid.
- The complaint must include sufficient details, such as account name, session date, problem description, and any supporting evidence.
- Farid strives to respond within a reasonable period; this may vary depending on the complaint's nature, complexity, and the need to review recordings or contact the trainer.
- Filing a complaint does not automatically suspend financial obligations or session schedules, unless Farid decides otherwise.
20Changes to the Service
- Farid may develop, modify, or discontinue some features, content, or service-delivery methods from time to time.
- Updates, improvements, or changes in operational tools do not entail any automatic right to a refund, as long as the core service or a suitable alternative is available.
- If a material change cancels a paid service that has not been delivered and no suitable alternative is available, the undelivered portion's value may be refunded under the refund policy.
21Updates to These Terms
- Farid may update these Terms from time to time for legal, operational, commercial, or technical reasons.
- Where there is a material change affecting user rights, Farid makes an appropriate effort to notify the user via email, the platform, or another suitable means.
- Amendments take effect from the date of publication or the date specified in the notice.
- Continued use of the service after the amendment takes effect is deemed acceptance of the updated Terms, unless the law requires separate consent.
- If the user rejects a material amendment, they may terminate the service and request settlement of the unconsumed-session balance under the applicable refund policy.
22Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, unless mandatory rules in the consumer's country of residence require otherwise.
- In case of any dispute, the parties commit first to attempt amicable resolution through official communication, over a period of no less than 30 days from the date of notifying the other party of the dispute.
- If no amicable solution is reached, the parties may resort to mediation or voluntary settlement if they so agree.
- The competent Egyptian courts have jurisdiction over disputes, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights under applicable mandatory laws.
- The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Terms does not affect the validity and effectiveness of the remaining provisions.
23Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any policy, offer, or written agreement approved by Farid, constitute the entire agreement between the user and Farid regarding the service and supersede any prior understandings or correspondence to the extent they conflict. Where there is an institutional, school, or special contract signed between Farid and a contracting entity, the provisions of that contract apply within the scope of the institutional relationship, and these Terms remain in force in respect of matters not in conflict.
